"Our agitation is being run in Gandhian way, so we should not talk about killing anybody. That was not a right statement by him. We must not make such statements which can spark off a class conflict in the society," Lalji said.

"He should make sensible statements. As he has been accepted as the leader of the Patel community, such statements can harm our cause," Lalji added.

CPI accused RSS of trying to take control of the Governance

CPI secretary D Raja, National secretary of CPI, Communist Party of India, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, RSS, Narendra Modi-led NDA government
Coimbatore : The National secretary of Communist Party of India (CPI) D Raja on Friday accused Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of trying to take control of the Governance of the Country, by issuing diktats to Narendra Modi-led NDA government.

The CPI secretary D Raja told reporters here that, "Now RSS is taking central role and sharpening its entry into the governance, thus behaving like an extra- constitutional authority."

Stating that a man belonging to a minority community was murdered for his alleged involvement in cow slaughter and another youth was murdered for allegedly having a ring tone of Ambedkar's song, Raja claimed that the people, including Dalits and Minorities were living in fear.

Moreover, people like rationalist Narendra Dabolkar and communist leader Govind Pansare in Maharashtra and scholar M M Kalburgi in Karnataka were eliminated, Raja said.

He said his party will organise a nation-wide demonstration on November 24, the birthday of Pansare to create awareness among the public against the "designs" of Sangh Parivar.

On foreign tours of Prime minister Narendra Modi, Raja said "it is not a Make in India campaign, but Make profit in India for which he was inviting big corporates and MNCs to invest in the Country, which meant deregulation, to convert the Indian economy into US-Model economy".

On Bihar elections, Raja said the results will have a serious impact on the National politics and also have bearing on the coming assembly elections to some States like Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, West Bengal and Assam.

As an alternative to BJP and Grand Alliance, Left parties are fighting the elections, so that a change can be projected in Bihar, he said.

Raja said the CPI will stage State-wide demonstration in Tamil Nadu on October 5 to protest against price rise and also the prevailing drought-like situation across the state, particularly in 17 districts.

'The Video allowing world to see the real and horrific consequences of Pak occupation'

PoK Video viral, Pak occupation, Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Pak Army and ISI, consequences of Pak occupation in PoK
New Delhi : On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanthi on Friday the Nation said, the video showing Pakistan's brutality in the PoK has lifted the "veil which the Pak Army and ISI had put" and the world can now see the "real and horrific consequences" of Pakistani occupation.

Senior government sources also rejected Pakistan's claim that the visuals were doctored and that it was a propaganda of the Indian media. "Familiar Pakistani tactic to blame everything on India. The camera does not lie. The images are quite graphic," they said.

Earlier this week, a video went viral showing Pakistani establishment using brutal force on those protesting against the government in several areas of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), including Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli.

Reacting sharply, the sources said, "It looks like the veil which the Pak Army and ISI had put on this region is finally lifting, allowing the world to see the real and horrific consequences of Pak occupation."

However, commenting on the video, Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry had said, "It's a propaganda. Pakistan has always raised the voice for the Kashmiris. Whole world is watching how Pakistani flags are being raised in Kashmir (Indian side).

Recently, after raising the Kashmir issue at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had proposed a four-point peace initiative for India that included demilitarising Kashmir, renouncing the use or threat of use of force, withdrawal from Siachen Glacier and formalising ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC).
